Click on "Projects" in the upper left hand side of the screen (Under "wiki home") Each Gas Law has been assigned to lab groups. There were only 6 laws so some groups go rearranged a little. Click on your gas law and complete the following:
You need to post:
1) Formula for your gas law
2) explanation of each variable in your formula (what it stands for, possible units)
3) Links to at least 3 websites for additional information - could include interactive pictures, definitions, etc
4) Explain circumstances of using your gas law
After all groups are done, create yourself a graphic organizer that looks like this & complete it using each group page:
Charles's Law
Boyle's Law
Combined Gas Law
Ideal Gas Law
Dalton's Law of Partial Pressure
Graham's Law
Formula
rate1 / rate2 = square root of (mass2 / mass1)
Situation & When to use
rate of effusion
Key Units to Recognize
rate= rate of effusion
mass= molar mass of gas
Other Helpful things
Time/ density are also used in the formula depending on the problem being asked.
